<\/a><\/p>\nThe aircraft will be powered solely by diesel derived from “end-of-life” plastic (ELP) waste. Rowsell teamed up with Cynar PLC. The company converts end-of-life plastic waste (ELP) typically destined for landfills into useful diesel.<\/p>\n
About five tons of plastic will be recycled to produce the 1,000 gallons of fuel needed for the trip.
